STAMFORD — Stamford NAACP President Jack Bryant has been appointed to a leadership position with the organization’s state chapter.
Bryant was appointed the organization’s second vice president at the Connecticut state NAACP Conference held at Southern Connecticut State University Saturday. He said he will retain his position as head of the city’s local chapter.
“My priority will always be to the Stamford Community,” Bryant said in an email. “I am excited about the responsibilities and opportunities that this appointment opens up for me on the State Level.”
Bryant, a Stamford native, has been president of the Stamford NAACP since 2008.
